Home Care Can Be Provided on an Hourly or Live-In Basis

To meet your loved one’s care needs, a home care aide can spend just a few hours or up to a full day with them. We can refer in-home caregivers for any schedule, though it can be more expensive on a per-hour basis to attract and retain quality caregivers for smaller shifts.

If extended care is needed, clients often ask about the pros and cons of live-in home health aides versus hourly shifts:

Live-In Caregiver
  • Can be more economical
  • Assistance is in the home 24/7
  • Home must be suited for live-in
  • Aide must be given adequate time to sleep
Hourly Caregiver
  • Can be scheduled for waking hours or for round-the-clock coverage
with a second 12-hour shift overnight
  • Caregiver working all hours they are on premise
  • Home need not have additional living quarters

Whatever the situation, we can help. We have worked with families from all over the country providing them with home care solutions tailored to fit the specific needs of their loved ones in South Florida.
