Our Founder
Locally Owned and Operated for 25+ Years

Boca Home Care Services was founded in 1998 by Lisa Kaufman, a nationally renowned eldercare advocate, to meet the needs of the aging South Florida community with compassion and professionalism.

Lisa has served in various roles on the Florida and National Boards of the Private Care Association (“PCA”), the leading advocacy group for the senior home health industry, including as the President of the National Board of the PCA.

In her capacity as a tireless activist for the needs of aging seniors, she has testified before the United States Supreme Court and regularly meets with members of both houses of Congress. She serves on the boards of several local non-profit organizations both related and unrelated to senior care.

Our Values
A Mission of Dignity, Safety and Compassion

The founding and guiding principle of Boca Home Care Services is that nobody should have to sacrifice safety or dignity to remain comfortably in their homes.

Whether someone has lived in South Florida their entire life, moved during retirement or only spends part of the year here, they are a valued part of our community and should be treated as such.

To achieve this mission, we take the time to get to know every single one of our clients and understand both their needs and what’s important to them and their families.

Whether you know exactly what your loved one needs or are exploring the types of assistance that are available, we are happy to talk on the phone or meet at your loved one’s home to help determine the most appropriate level of home health care. If we cannot meet your family’s needs, we will happily refer you to a home care agency or nurse registry near you that can.

We will also coordinate with a client’s physician, geriatric care manager or any other professionals to ensure seamless care.

Let us show you why we are the most trusted home care company in Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

“I have never dealt with a more polite and kind staff. Your company should be automatically accredited based on the outstanding service I received.”

    5
    Start of Care
The home care assistant hired by the client will begin on the set schedule. If needs change, we are always here to help.
    The Caregivers
    Experienced, Screened, Licensed and Insured

All of the home health aides and certified nursing assistants we work with are extensively federally screened, licensed and insured. We ensure that not only are the caregivers we work with certified for in-home care, but that they are also up to date on continuing education requirements.

We use your input on care needs and personality preferences to recommend compassionate home caregivers with skills and experience uniquely matched against your loved one’s requirements. We can refer aides with experience caring for patients with specific challenges such as dementia, Alzheimer’s of Parkinson’s, or who use particular in-home aid equipment such as a Hoyer Lift.

You or your loved one may interview these caregivers to ensure fit before beginning care.

As a service to both clients and caregivers, we administer hassle-free billing and payment processing, including with any third-party payers such as insurance companies. Unlike with home health care agencies, our clients are fully in charge throughout the process, from selecting among recommended caregivers to setting a care schedule that works for them.
