Joseph Bensmihen, MSW, Geriatric Care Manager, has over 13 years of experience in all aspects of geriatrics, home care and community resources. Joseph has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Yeshiva University in New York. He is the current President of the Florida Chapter of the Private Home Care Association, a member of the National Association of Social Workers, Florida Guardian Association, National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, Case Managers Association and Patient Care Association (home care).

Cheryl (1st row, red shirt black jacket) received her B.A. from the University of Hartford. Once working in the Home Health Care field, she earned her certification as a Geriatric Care Manager. In addition to her Administrative role, she specializes in finding financial and service entitlements for older adults. Her work with seniors, their families and community resources is augmented by her ability to assess and advocate for short and long term planning needs. Receiving calls locally and from around the country, Cheryl provides expert consultation, counseling, crisis intervention, education about Home Care solutions, info & referral and LTC insurance benefit verification. For families seeking help with Alzheimer's Disease, Cheryl offers a tri-stage approach which supports the caregiver, provides care to the patient (ie. Photo stimulation, Home based Eden Alternative, reading aloud, crafts and games) and assures comprehensive planning for the family. Cheryl likes to say "Florida is a great place to age well".

Lisa Bensmihen (2nd row, black shirt, center) received her B.A. from Boston University in economics. She than went to work for the Michigan Hospital Assoiciation, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan and a national HomeCare company before joining her husband, Joseph to open United Geriatric Care Management Services. Lisa received her M.B.A. in Health Care Administration in June, 2000.
