As a Veteran’s Administration Home Health Care Provider, Boca Home Care Wishes to Thank All of America’s Veterans! We Recommend You Contact the VA to Learn About ALL of Their Benefits.

A Preferred Provider to the VA

Most of the Veterans we meet use the Medical benefits of the VA, including their prescription medications.

It is worth speaking to the VA about some of their other Benefit Programs which can assist the Veteran or their surviving spouse with home care costs through Aid & Attendance and the VA pension.

Before applying for some of the VA  financial benefits, check with your Elder Law Attorney or Financial Planner as taking these benefits may prevent future eligibility for other, non-Veteran Federal or State programs.

Visit:  www.vba.va.gov  or call –  800-827-1000.

As a Home Care company, Boca Home Care Services works often with clients who have the Aid & Attendance benefit. A&A pays a monthly stipend – usually over $1,000 a month, to cover home care costs. You do need the discharge papers of the Veteran. Make sure to photocopy everything you send to the VA and have patience through the processing period. Note, that even though it can take several months to process, if you are approved, the payment s are retroactive to the application date.

Other VA Benefits include: Death Pension, Burial, Disability Pension, Medical Care, Direct Deposit among others.

Again, Thank You to all who have served, you are all part of the Greatest America has to offer.
